Kirby Elementary Kicked off Kindness Week with an assembly. Mrs. Cowart read the Kindness Proclamation:

NOW, THEREFORE, WE the administration. staff, and students at Kirby Elementary do hereby proclaim that during this Kindness Week, let us all commit to:

  • Spreading positivity:
Share a smile, compliment a stranger, or offer a helping hand to those in need.

  • Engaging in thoughtful gestures:
Write a thank-you note, perform a random act of service, or donate to a local charity.

  • Building empathy:
Listen attentively to others, show compassion, and strive to understand different perspectives.

  • Promoting kindness in our communities:
Encourage families, schools, businesses, and organizations to participate in kindness initiatives.

  • Leading by example:
Be mindful of our words and actions and strive to be a positive influence on those around us.

Let us embrace the spirit of kindness throughout this week and beyond, creating a more compassionate and caring community for all.

AssemblyMrs. Melissa talked with students about the importance of kindness and why it’s essential.
