Kirby School Athletic Physicals will be on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022 in the Health Clinic room beside my office. Heather Funderburk, APRN will be doing these physicals for FREE! Any student who is going to be playing basketball, baseball, softball, golf, cheerleading, etc. during the upcoming 2022-2023 school year will have to have a sports physical completed and on file at school before they can participate in any sporting event. If your child receives their physical at a different location, please send a copy to me. IF you want your child(ren) to be seen for their physical on campus on May 3rd , please call/text me at 870-223-2711 or 870-398-4211 ext. 4 so I can put their name on the list to be seen. Parents/Guardians DO NOT have to be present. This is only for those who will be in 7-12 grades in the 2022-2023 school year.
Thank you!! Nurse Alissa

The Lady Trojans Basketball team is in the state quarter finals on Sunday at 7:00pm. If we win this game on Sunday, we will advance to the semifinal game at 5:30pm on Monday.
Due to the location and timing of the semifinal game- IF we are playing in Monday afternoon’s game, classes in the Kirby School District will be dismissed at 1:00pm on Monday, March 7th, to ensure timely and safe travel of our students, staff and fans to the semi-final game in Morrilton
Since we will not know for sure until Sunday’s game is over, we will send out a message confirming Monday’s school status (dismissing early or full day of school) once the game is complete.

On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, the Kirby High School Computer Science classes will be transmitting SSTV images from approximately 2:00-4:00 PM. We will use the Athens/Tall Peak Pearter (146.025 Mhz), and will listen actively to receive any SSTV images from any other station.
In the event of inclement weather, we will try again on Thursday, March 10. In the event that the Athens repeater is unavailable, we will switch the Mt Ida/High PeakRepeater (146,715 MHz) or 145.500 MHz as appropriate.
